My Special Talent......................

Yes I know this is the strangest picture I have posted so far but I promise you if you hang in here, there's no telling what kind of strange things I might post here.

Okay, I do have a story behind this picture of my UGLY foot with my toes spread apart! Here goes, now don't blame me if it doesn't make much sense but I do have a strange sense of humor; I'm sure that is showing now...........

Tonight I got an email with one of those Question & Answer things from a friend which is supposed to help you get to know each other better. I wish she (my friend) had just asked me to meet her for lunch or go for a walk with me again (hint hint Nan) so she could find out about me the easy way...........by talking!!

I never or rarely EVER do those things; normally after I read them I delete them but I do read to find see if I find out anything new and interesting about my friend who sent it to me (from her answers). Well tonight the question was: Do you have any special talent?

My friend wrote that she had a LAME talent that she was able to spread her toes wide apart..............I sat straight up and laughed out loud, because you see I can DO THAT TOO!! I finished the Q & A and decided that since I had nothing better to write about tonight I would write about the fact that my friend and I share this "special/lame" talent!!

So I decided it wouldn't be as funny without a picture to go with it.. Until I took that picture I never suspected my feet were so ugly!! Of course this foot (my left) that I chose to take the picture of had to be the one with a weird big toe nail. I got a black toenail from doing a half marathon in March and its still looking pretty weird. The toenail has almost grown back out and the blackness is gone. But dang my whole foot looks SO UGLY!!

I promise to do something to make my feet look better soon! Heaven knows I have enough Avon foot products that I shouldn't have ugly feet like this! I think it would help alot if I just painted my toenails and put lotion on my scaley looking feet!

Anyway, SEE I can spread my toes too! I probably could have done a better job if I hadn't been laughing so hard trying to stick my foot up in the air and take the picture at the same time!! Even Tyler asked me what was wrong and what was I doing!! Then he laughed along with me!!

Okay enough of my toes and my ugly foot. Mark got my car fixed today!! Luck was with us today; it was just a dead battery! He knew it was dead last night but thought he could charge it today but it wouldn't hold a charge so I looked through all my files til I found the receipt from Wally World where I bought the battery last summer.

I want to brag on Wally World (WalMart) a bit...............because they tried to charge the battery too and it wouldn't charge for them either!! Guess what they did? They gave us a brand new battery! No pro-rated charges or anything; just another new battery and new receipt to keep in case something happens to this one!!
YEAH!!! I love my Wally World!!

I think this is enough of my ramblings for tonight! I'll try to find something a little funnier than "my left foot" tomorrow night to blog about!

An "Oldie But Goodie"...............

I have been in a very nostalgic mood today for some strange reason. I don't have a clue why so I was trying to think of what to "blog" about tonight, so I had some pictures I had to round up for a friend who wrote a profile on me for the September Georgia Runner online magazine. Since he scanned these for me I had them to post here.

This one you see above is from kindergarten I believe. It is one of my favorites from my childhood. I guess because of my "innocent look" and the hair done in curls! Remember the way they used to roll small sections of hair around their fingers then use bobby pins to hold them flat to your head?? I think they called them pin curls! Well that is how this look was achieved!

I think this is enough to scare you with for tonight! I meant to take a photo with my cell phone today to post here on my blog every day but I forgot (as usual); then I remembered this one, an "oldie but goodie"..........

I'll try to blog about something a little more interesting tomorrow night. I took Tyler to his class at UGA tonight so I forgot to try to dream up something interesting to write about. I am sure no one wants to hear about my car trouble..........but here it is in a nutshell...........

I left my sunroof and window open over the weekend and never even thought about it over the weekend when we had some rain. I drove my little KIA Sorento to Winder to walk and to the YMCA yesterday evening after I cleaned out all the water and it was fine. Then today I went out to open the windows to let it air out and dry some more and I couldn't start the engine to get the power windows down. There was tons of condensation on the inside so I believe the moisture got to something and shorted something out. Mark is gonna check it out tomorrow (Wednesday).

Tonight I had to drive the big white tank to Athens and it was an experience! I don't drive a big vehicle very often so it takes a bit to get used to it but I did, so by the time we were coming home I was feeling quite comfortable! Oh well who knows, if Mark can't find the problem, I'll be tootling around in the BIG WHITE TANK until we can get my little KIA fixed!

Oh well, that's enough of the bad stuff going on here.........night night, I'll try to do better tomorrow!

P.S. Thought I better tell ya that its not really a "big white tank" but almost......its a Ford E-350 Econoline Van! Its huge with 3 bench seats! Mark bought it to pull his boat on trips and so that Tyler, Faith (white shepherd) and Torrey would each have a bench seat all to themselves on trips!

My Newest Puppy............... IronMan Riply

My newest puppy Riply, is very heavy! I think he needs to go on a diet, I could barely lift him out of the car when I got him home!
He sits out near our door and guards for any strangers entering the house. Unlike my other 3 furbabies, he is quiet as a mouse and doesn't make a sound when strangers appear.
Another thing, he is getting kinda rusty! I think I need to get Mark to take his power tool thingy and see if he can buff some of the rust off of him............but even with his rust and all, don't you think he's cute??

Exercise Report:

Walk in Winder around WBHS (high school) until storms approached.
Then I had to leave because the weather was about to get bad!

Decisions Decisions!!

I am trying to decide if I want to continue this feeble attempt at a blog I made early in 2009 or should I start a new one.............like I named this, decisions decisions! I have never been good at making decisions. I over-think everything and then never make up my mind what to do!!

I only have 3 followers who probably decided long ago that I wasn't going to keep this going so they have long abandoned me I suppose. So it won't matter much what I do, I guess! See I am never good at making up my mind.

I think I'll hold off and decide later when I have time to figure out all the settings and stuff; that's my big problem, I want it to look nice and not a mish-mash of stuff like I published when I first started..........so maybe I should start over!

WHO KNOWS??
Certainly not me!!
