Day 4 of "Whatever this is; I'm CLUELESS!"

I don't even KNOW what to think!! I am back and forth, back and forth 137 point something to 138 point something. I sure hope I see some movement DOWN on these darn scales soon; this is getting depressing and I am not cheating and eating anything GOOD!! Boohoo!!

I'm trying to eat healthy but I do know ONE THING I am not doing and that is exercising! That's what's missing and I know it. I have a treadmill on the back porch, a big yard to walk around in, a membership at the YMCA and I am still sitting here on my butt Unmotivated!

I know the weather has had me in a "funk" so to speak, but this is ridiculous! Its about to get colder and I keep sitting here; at least I walked to the mailbox this morning.

Okay I am gonna get out and get some wood in for the night before dark and I am going to wear my pedometer and at least log a mile around the yard. I should make Tyler go to the YMCA with me but too lazy for that. I would like to go to Trader Joe's in Athens tomorrow/Sunday so maybe my motivation then will be to get Tyler up and ready to go and we'll go to the Y for a short cardio workout on the bike and treadmill then go to Trader Joe's............I am so glad we have one of those close by now and I'm ashamed to say I have only been once for a quick trip in there after a race. I have been meaning to go back so maybe by writing this down I will be motivated to go tomorrow!

I have made a conscious decision to attack my blogging in a different manner. In the mornings after I weigh myself (so much fun) then I will go ahead and post the scales and write a little bit and then later in the day or all along the day I can add more a little bit at a time. I think this will work better than me trying to do the whole blog late at night when I am too tired to think

I am back in the house from filling up the wood box and I didn't even know before I went out that its misting rain out there and ground is wet. Oh well, I have been living in my turtle shell today!
I made a few laps around the yard then my feet got wet so came in; made it almost a mile..........LOL!! I took some pictures with my cell phone so I will post those in a little bit.

This is the gate looking down the long driveway to the road.......dreary looking!

Faith is sniffing something out at the bottom of the fence.
Part of front pasture; you can barely see a house in distance; its the one that borders our property on Kilcrease Road, at least I think I see it. Well at least I know that's Faith down there still sniffing out a rat or something!

Looking toward the end of the house where basement door is; heading around the house. Some parts of the grass is so brown and some is still green. Wonder which is the weeds and which is REALLY grass?

This is side pasture looking toward the back of our property; there are some houses in Country Meadows subdivision on the right.

This is backside of property; not much to see other than pasture.

I am standing near basement end of house looking up toward the woodpile; I sure do need to be raking leaves in this area. We have maple and oak trees back there. There's lots of branches that have fallen that I plan to pick up tomorrow if its not raining.

I am standing in back near woodpile looking toward the house. I thought you would be able to see and tell that Mark and Torrey put up the plastic on the back porch for me before Mark left for Indiana. It sure does help to keep the house warmer with the plastic over the screen porch. Of course the dogs have already torn out a place next to the door to go out. They won't go outside THRU THE DOOR like a normal dog would, they think they have to tear the screen and plastic and go out that place!

Before I forget, I wanted to make a note in my blog that when I talked to Mark this evening he said there was 6 inches of snow up there in Indiana where he is working. They did some drilling today to try to make up for the days they couldn't work in the rain. He said the snowplows do a good job up there! I'll be reporting tidbits of info I get from him about how he is doing here on my blog too.

Well its getting late and there's not much else going on tonight. Tyler and I just watched TV and he did his "thing" in with loading/unloading the dishwasher and rearranging the dishes in the cabinets.
Maybe tomorrow will be more interesting!

  1. Relax :) Weight loss is a game of patience. The decimal readings in the scale mean nothing as they depend on how your body holds WATER and many other factors. I record daily weight but the average it for the week and only look at that number. Have fun and I hope you meet your goals.
