January 5th - I'm LOVING This Weather!

This weather we're having is really something else.  So nice especially when you think about how cold and wintery it was this time last year!!  Brrrrrrr.........makes me shiver to even think about it!!


Not a lot going on today; I made it for 5th day of 100 Day Challenge to stay active for at least 30 minutes per day.  I did 2.7 miles on the dreadmill in 50 minutes today.  Hope to do more tomorrow since its gonna be an even BETTER day than today.


I did weigh this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see 138.8 lbs!  But I don't expect it to stay that low right now; I know it will probably go back up to 139 something a couple more times before 138 finally sticks!  


Don McClellan posted his slideshow from the race on New Years Eve, the Flashlight 5K in Lawrenceville.  I grabbed on picture of me in the finish line, kinda blurry but I'll post it here!

I had some other friends who posted some pictures from the New Year's Day at Noon 5K in Athens at Sandy Creek Park. This picture was taken after the race when I sat down to catch my breath before I dove in for the pizza!!

Looks like I am wearing the previous night's race tshirt (Flashlight 5K).


Tomorrow is Friday.........YEAH!!  Gonna be a bit nicer weather than we had today so I hope to get outside more; might do some laps in the yard and I'll try to get some pics of the dogs.


That's it for tonight..........watching Nancy Grace & gonna watch Dr. Drew about the new Casey Anthony video that came out this morning.  I saw it early today and its all over the news tonight.
